Simon Burry, our culinary maestro, has had an unwavering love for food that began in the heart of his family's kitchen. Born and raised with a pot in one hand and a spatula in the other, Simon's culinary journey was set in motion by the nurturing hands of his Grandfather who was also a professional Head Baker upon the Queen Mary proceeding the war. Simons Mother and Grandmother were also keen cooks and inspired some of Simon’s fondest childhood memories in the Kitchen.

As a young child, Simon found himself captivated by the aromas, flavours, and secrets of the kitchen, where he would eagerly lend a hand, absorbing every culinary lesson his family had to offer. It was within these walls that his lifelong passion for cooking ignited.

Simon's culinary path continued to unfold as he pursued formal education in the culinary arts and it was under the 3 Michelin star chef in France, Micheal Bras, that he honed his skills, refining the artistry that had been nurtured in his family kitchen.
Simon later went onto teaching at Torquay College for 6 years with his PGCE qualification.

A unique chapter in Simon's culinary adventure led him to serve in the prestigious ranks of the RAF's Catering Regiment. Here, his talents flourished as he created culinary masterpieces while serving our country. His time in the RAF not only added discipline and precision to his craft but also reinforced his commitment to delivering excellence in every dish.

Simon's professional journey in the world of catering has seen him gracing the kitchens of distinguished hotels. His experience in these prestigious establishments has undoubtedly contributed to his culinary prowess, elevating his ability to craft remarkable dining experiences.
